Our history began in the early 1950’s as Nelsons Menswear. Robert Miels managed and then purchased the business in 1978 from The Late Peter Nelson and Marjorie Jackson-Nelson AC CVO MBE (who later became governor of SA). The store has evolved into what we now know as Miels One Five Four, one of Adelaide’s most respected and acclaimed Mens fashion boutiques.

Miels One Five Four is a family business. Robert and his brother Michael have recently expanded their fashion interest to include Adelaide’s exclusive GANT store situated nearby on Unley Road.
